Now Christmas is all over bar the turkey, and as 2019 draws to a close it’s time to wish everybody a belated Merry Christmas and all the best for a very Happy New Year. Hope you’ve all had a good year and are looking forward to the new decade. Personally if I could have one wish for 2020 it would be to have another one just like this year – it’s been amazing!
It has truly been beyond my wildest dreams how quickly Waggy Tails of Wymondham has grown over the past twelve months, so many fabulous new doggies of all shapes and sizes have joined the gang, and due to such high demand, since the summer I’ve been joined on the team by my first permanent member of staff (Brogan, who has been fantastic and I’ll properly introduce her in a future blog) with a second coming on board in the new year – exciting times indeed!
It’s been absolutely brilliant meeting loads of new puppies and helping them to take their first steps into the big, wide world and aiding with their training and socialisation, meeting and having loads of fun with lots of new friends. And it’s been equally awesome watching some of the pups from last year grow and develop into the magnificent adult doggies they are today. It truly has been an absolute hoot, every day is a new adventure and it’s been without doubt easily the best year at work that I’ve EVER had – so much so I still can’t believe how lucky I am to be able to call what I do “work” Spending time with so many incredible doggies is genuinely the best way to spend any day, and I feel so blessed that I get to do it every day, giving up my old life to pursue my dream of being a dog walker truly is one of the best decisions I’ve ever had and I’ve not regretted it for a single second.
The pics on this page show just a few of the many, many new recruits of 2019 – just look at those happy faces, and of course all the waggy tails!
I’ve been so busy this year that I’ve been a bit rubbish with keeping this blog up to date, in fact I’ve just realised it’s my first post of 2019. That’s an easy new year’s resolution for me, I’ll definitely be more regular with my updates, sharing photos and stories of some of my fabulous, furry friends. Though if you want to keep really up to date with the goings on at Waggy Tails of Wymondham you can follow me on Instagram or like my page on Facebook where you can see tons of fab photos of the amazing doggies we get to spend our days with.
And of course if you live in Wymondham and have a doggie of your own who needs some company during the day we have lots of awesome pooches ready and waiting to play and we’d love to be their new friends so give us a call on 07776 238693 or email Simon at waggy.tails@yahoo.com.
